Capitol Area Mothers of Multiples Club (CAMOMC) is a non-profit support and social group founded in 1973 for mothers of multiples (twins, triplets, or more) in the greater Lansing, Michigan area. Our monthly meetings always include "Multiple Mania," a lively discussion of the challenges of raising multiples. We talk about a wide range of subjects -- from techniques of feeding and diapering two or three infants to strategies for developing independence and minimizing competition between older multiples.
Our meetings are held at 7:00pm on the second Wednesday of each month except July, August & December. We meet in Room G on the second floor of the Sparrow Professional Annex Building across from Sparrow Hospital. We welcome everyone who has an interest in multiples. While many members approach the meetings as a "time away" from their multiples, children of all ages are welcome (in fact, there are some members that are very keen to hold babies again). So do not hesitate to bring along your little ones. We always talk about issues relating to multiple pregnancies and parenting, including a question and answer period.
Capitol Area Mothers of Multiples Club (CAMOMC) provides support and encouragement in child rearing and a social outlet for mothers or guardians of multiple births through research, education and fellowship.
